This Privacy Policy explains how InfoLink Tax ("InfoLink," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Data Wrangler website and service (the "Service"). By using the Service or joining our waitlist, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Waitlist details. When you join the waitlist we collect your name, firm name, business email, role (optional), and any notes you share about the data sources you work with.
• Files and study data. If you use the Service, we process the files you upload — which may include payroll exports, wage records, time-tracking data, and project data belonging to your firm and your clients — solely to produce the normalized output you request.
• Communications. Information you provide when you contact us by phone or email.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data. Standard log information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.
• Cookies and analytics. We may use analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand site usage. See "Cookies and analytics" below.
• Spam prevention. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects device and usage information subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms.

How we use information

• To operate and provide the Service, including normalizing the files you upload into study-ready datasets.
• To manage the waitlist and contact you about early access.
• To secure, maintain, and improve the Service and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the files or client data you upload to train models for other customers or third parties.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers. Vendors who host and support the Service (for example, cloud hosting and form-processing providers) act on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of InfoLink, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and, where enabled, analytics to measure how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we use Google Analytics, information is processed subject to Google's terms; you can learn more at Google's privacy pages.

Data retention

We keep personal information and uploaded files only for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, and we delete or de-identify them afterward. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your choices").

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. For more on how we handle data, see our Security page.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to be removed from the waitlist, contact us using the details below. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be communicated through the Service.
